Soner, originally from Sivas, was born in Istanbul in 1986. While he was spending his summer holidays in Balıkesir - Altınoluk during his childhood, his favorite hobby was fishing in the harbor and enjoying the pleasure of eating stuffed mussels. Soner, who is a full-stuffed mussel lover, wanted to take this desire to the next level with his best friend and to sell stuffed mussels while he was still going to primary school. But they gave up because they were afraid of eating all the mussels. However, his love for stuffed mussels never ended.

While he was studying at Ege University, he thought that Izmir-style stuffed mussels should also be in İstanbul. Then he decided to open a concept stuffed mussel shop, where he will present them in a very clean manner to customers with healthy farm mussels.

He had a dream when he opened his first stuffed mussel shop in 2017; to make people taste the Midye Box's stuffed mussels all over the world and in Turkey and to announce and love this delicious taste to the whole world.

Midye Box, which families make an enjoyable taste stop, started in a small shop in the Ataköy neighborhood of Bakırköy. In a short time, its flavor spread outside of Ataköy. When this delicious taste surrounds the whole of Istanbul, the stuffed mussels concept, which provides restaurant service in Bakırköy, was opened in order to offer a better service to its customers.

After a short while, the reputation of Midye Box's taste spread abroad. In February 2021, it opened the first concept stuffed mussel shop in Kuwait and received the title of being the first stuffed mussel company in Turkey to give a franchise abroad. Midye Box continues to succeed with its various stuffed mussels in many parts of the world.
